CINCO Electrical recently teamed up with the well known electrical engineering company Gordyn & Palmer and the multinational and Australia's leading building and construction supplier, Hanson Construction Materials. The team at CINCO executed the field electrical, instrumentation and fibre optic installations at Hanson's Canberra Quarry.

The project intentions was to upgrade and automate the existing plant infrastructure utilising the latest PLC, SCADA and automation electrical switchgear technology. The project involved replacing and installing the new automated plant motor control centre which was strategically designed, constructed and supplied by Gordyn & Palmer. Field installation works consisted of new instrumentation block chute radars, ultrasonic level sensors, conveyor speed sensors, plant IP cameras and an optic fibre network.

The team at CINCO was highly praised for their efforts and workmanship during the project. Our team of electricians worked diligently to ensure that the field electrical switchgear and motor control switchboards were installed efficiently and accurately, in order to meet the tight reactivation schedule set down by the client, Hanson Construction Materials.
